We received continued Funding for the strategic SafeSW project!

We expand the research focus to include ‘High-Integrity Systems’, i.e. complex systems with high demands on functional safety across various domains together with the focus on the challenges of coordinating software and hardware. These topics are something that is asked for by the industry and linked to the change that hardware becomes more programmable. Examples of such hardware technology are Microcontrollers and FPGA.
Relevant standards are IEC 61508, IEC 60730, EN 5012X and ISO 26262.
One of the end results will be an Agile process that enables design advancements from Microcontrollers to Certified products that are safe, fast and smart. The first results from this project will be presented at the XP2016 in Edinburgh.
